Tumay Kanar manages the mm-Wave IC design team at IDT/Renesas. His fields of expertise are in millimeter-wave IC and system design for beamforming technologies for Satcom and 5G infrastructure.
He is a co-founder of Spectrabeam, a spin-off from UCSD and holds a PhD in RF Circuit Design from the University of California at San Diego and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Cornell University. He has more than 10 patents in advanced IC techniques for beamformers.
